The Lord's Prayer

Charles and Macey wanted to share their favorite prayer.

Charles has been praying this since he was three years old.
After praying, he would always raise his hands and cheer
"Heaven! Heaven! Heaven!"
This prayer always puts him in a good mood and on 'high gear' all day long!

Macey considers this her favorite prayer because, in her own words:
"It's simple. It's beautiful.
And I pray it everyday at school."

THE LORD'S PRAYER

Our Heavenly Father
Illustrated by Stephanie McFetridge Britt

Our Father Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done
on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass
against us.
And lead us not into temptation.
But deliver us from evil:
For Thine is the kingdom,
And the power, and the glory.
Now and forever. Amen.

Matthew 6:9-13

This is the prayer that Jesus Christ has taught us.
Indeed, it is simple.
And it is absolutely powerful.

We'd like to thank Charles and Macey for suggesting that we publish this prayer in this blog.

And above all, we thank Jesus for teaching us this beautiful prayer.

Thanks to all of you who have visited this blog.

Thanks for your encouraging words and we're looking forward to your posts.

May God bless you all...always.

Hi - Thanks for your comments and suggestions.

You can actually use HTML tags when you post a comment. If you're having problems, just let us know.

Embedding an MP3 file is a GREAT idea. We'll be including instructions on how posters can upload their mp3 files in this blog. Watch out for it!
